Let's Go Fly Fishing!

About Us

My name is Tim Glynn, and I've been fishing all my life with the last 20-years pretty much fly fishing only. I enjoy sharing my passion for the sport and exploring streams and rivers that most people only experience from a car window. We're so much more than what you see on the TPKE and GSP!

I've fly fished in Central Pennsylvania, the Poconos, the Upper Delaware, the Catskills, Connecticut, Vermont, and of course across New Jersey's varied trout waters.

Despite fishing over 70 days each year, this is a labor of love/side hustle, with trips mostly on weekends. However, if you have some PTO time to burn we can make Friday's and Monday's work too in many cases.

We are insured and licensed where required (NY, PA).

Sorry, but we only practice catch and release fishing. To paraphrase Clemenza, "leave the fish, take the photo."

Full and Half Day Fees

2023 NJ & EPA Guided Fishing Fees

$275.00 for a half-day or about 4 hours.

$325.00 for a full-day or about 8 hours.

Tips are appreciated for great service.

Trips are for 1-2 people. Call about a group of 3.

We do not require a deposit for your trip.

Upper Delaware Fly Fishing Float Trips

I'm a licensed guide in NY and PA and offer drift boat fishing trips booked through The Delaware River Club.

Contact our friend Jeff White at the DRC at 570-635-5880 about float trip rates on the West Branch, East Branch, and Main Stem of the Delaware River. Full day trips are $495 and include lunch. Half-day trips are $350.

The Upper Delaware system is some of the best dry fly fishing east of the Rockies and well worth the cost.

Corporate Trips and Groups

There are numerous similarities between business especially marketing and sales and fly fishing. Contact us to talk about a corporate training fly fishing excursion.

What To Bring

Signed Release

  • Compared to mountain climbing and full contact bocce, fly fishing is pretty safe. However, in order to take you fishing you will be required to sign and return our basic legal release.

Fishing License

  • Anyone age 16 and older must have a valid fishing license (see Exceptions) to fish the fresh waters of NJ, NY, and PA.

Polarized Sunglasses

  • Really needed. It's critical that when wading you can see into the water and step safely, not to mention maybe do a little sight-fishing.

Food/Snacks/Drinks

  • Clients should pack any food, lunch, and snacks they would like to bring. We always have a reserve of beverages.

Fly Fishing Gear

  • We specialize in all types of fly fishing and have flies, rods, and waders for clients. Bring that fly rod you got for your birthday in 2015 and never used. We'll put it into shape!

Hat/Sunblock

  • Most of the rivers we will fish are tree lined (not good for your back cast, btw) but bring a hat and sunblock just in case. A bad sunburn can ruin your day.

100% Charged Mobile Device

  • You're gonna want to take a few pics. Might see a Bald Eagle or NJ landmark like Hot Dog Johnny's.

Caveats

1. Safety first. Please follow the direction and instruction of your guide especially streamside. We want to avoid any bruises, cuts, and sprains. We are not responsible for your co-pay at your local orthopedic group.

2. They call it fishing and not catching. We'll do our best to put you on fish but sometimes, despite our best efforts the fish don't cooperate. We're just as disappointed as you are if this happens, believe us.

3. Clients will be asked to repair and or replace fly fishing gear that is broken due to use that would be considered "inconsistent" with normal use. i.e. using fly rods as lightsabers. Jedi masters, stay home.

4. Cancellation Policy. If river conditions are unsafe, too low, too warm, or just plain sucky for fishing, we may cancel within 24 hours of your trip. We do not take deposits and will do our best to reschedule when conditions and schedules permit.
