Let's Go Fly Fishing!

2025 NJ Guided Fishing Fees

$275.00 for a half day.

$325.00 for a full day.

Tips appreciated for great service.

Trips are for 1-2 people, call about a group of 3 or more.

We do not require a deposit and insured and licensed where required (NY, PA).

We practice catch and release fishing. To paraphrase Clemenza, "leave the fish, take the photo."

Upper Delaware Fly Fishing Float Trips

We offer drift boat fishing trips booked through The Delaware River Club.  Contact our friend Jeff White at the DRC at 570-635-5880 for more information about fly fishing full and half day float trips. Full day trips are $550 and include lunch. Half-day trips are $395. The Upper Delaware system offers some of the best dry fly fishing east of the Rockies!

Corporate Trips and Groups

There are numerous similarities between business especially marketing and sales and fly fishing.

Contact us to talk about a corporate training fly fishing excursion.

What To Bring

2025 Fishing License

Anyone age 16 and older must have a valid fishing license (see Exceptions) to fish the fresh waters of NJ, NY, and PA.

 Buy a NJ fishing license:

https://dep.nj.gov/njfw/fishing/freshwater/buy-a-license/

Buy a PA fishing license:

https://huntfish.pa.gov/

Buy a NY fishing license:

Signed Release

Compared to mountain climbing and full contact bocce, fly fishing is pretty safe. However, in order to take you fishing you will be required to sign and return our basic legal release.

Polarized Sunglasses

Really needed. It's critical that when wading you can see into the water and step safely, not to mention maybe do a little sight-fishing.

Food/Snacks/Drinks

Clients should pack any food, lunch, and snacks they would like to bring. We always have a reserve of beverages.

Fly Fishing Gear

We specialize in all types of fly fishing and have flies, rods, and waders for clients. Bring that fly rod you got for your birthday in 2014 and never used. Otherwise, we can provide everything you need to get on the water.

100% Charged Mobile Device

You're gonna want to take a few pics. Might see a Bald Eagle or NJ landmark like Hot Dog Johnny's.

Caveats

1. Safety first. Please follow the direction and instruction of your guide especially streamside. We want to avoid any bruises, cuts, and sprains. We are not responsible for your co-pay at your local orthopedic group.

2. They call it fishing and not catching. Despite a 90% catch rate YTD'24, the fish don't cooperate some days and the net stays dry. We're just as disappointed as you are if this happens, believe us.

3. Clients will be asked to repair and or replace fly fishing gear that is broken due to use that would be considered "inconsistent" with normal use. i.e. using fly rods as lightsabers. Jedi masters, stay home.

4. Cancellation Policy. If river conditions are unsafe or just plain sucky for fishing, we may cancel within 24 hours of your trip. We do not take deposits and will do our best to reschedule when conditions and schedules permit.

About Us

Tim Glynn, Guide & Owner

As a kid, Tim was introduced to fly fishing by his grandfather Raphael with a trip to the Pequest. But at age 14 he bought his first guitar and didn’t fish again until the band broke up and he had kids of his own in his late 20's.

He's fished across Pennsylvania, the Poconos, the Upper Delaware, the Catskills, Salmon River (NY), Connecticut, Vermont, Massachusetts, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Washington, Tennessee, and of course New Jersey's varied and scenic trout waters.

Despite fishing nearly 70 days each year, this is a labor of love/side hustle, with trips mostly on weekends. However, if you have some PTO time to burn we often can make Fridays and Mondays work too. Call us!

Peter Glynn, Guide & Drummer

Peter has two great passions, fly fishing and drumming. Born with a fly rod in hand, Peter is an accomplished fly angler and happy chasing anything with a fly from trout to bluegill to stripers and blues!

As a student of the Jazz Studies Program at Juilliard (BM, 2019-2023), Peter was guided by a number of jazz drumming greats including Billy Drummond and Kenny Washington and also spent some time with Juilliard Jazz Studies Chairman, Wynton Marsalis exploring the importance of Jazz as a tool for musical and social expression.
